Colleagues are best known as business/office partners, or those who have common goals working together to see them manifest. While changing the narrative of how these adults begin to see themselves in group settings of empowerment, these group sessions are an attempt to create peer support and empathy within a community of individuals striving to reach certain common milestones and aspirations. In group sessions we are looking to address eight principles and particular strengths that will give each individual an opportunity to achieve their maximum potential. These principles, having a positive impact on their experience with the social determinants of health, are known as the Optimal Opportunity Octagon.
